• Bromlow Callow. Famous landmark on the Welsh Border, ‘hill with the trees on top’ , fantastic views
• Snailbeach Mines. Historical information plaques on this tour of the surface remains
• Balloon ride. Float over the hills with our local pilot – ‘Espiritu’

Within an hour’s drive

• The Longmynd. Drive to this local beauty spot (or better still take the Shuttle Bus). Watch the gliders from the Longmynd Gliding Station.
• Bishop’s Castle. Local market town on the Welsh border where time seems to have stood still
• Church Stretton. Lively town set in the midst of beautiful hill country
• Acton Scott. Historic Farm Museum
• Discovery Centre at Craven Arms. Geological and historical information centre. Take a simulated balloon ride here or walk the nature trails.
• Shrewsbury. Shropshire’s county town. Packed with history and a great place to shop.
• Welshpool and Newtown ...just over the border into Wales
• Ludlow.. Historic town and castle
